Nietzschean Secession

Once again, the Nietzscheans betrayed the Systems Commonwealth. This time, because the infamous Tyr Anasazi, a Nietzschean former member of Captain Dylan Hunt's own crew, tricked them into believing him to be the Nietzschean Messiah — a genetic reincarnation of legendary Nietzschean Progenitor Drago Musevini. All of the Systems Commonwealth's enemies joined together against both the powerful Nietzscheans of the Drago-Kazov Pride and the High Guard Fleet that refused to retreat. The Secession took a heavy toll on the Restored Systems Commonwealth: at least one entire system destroyed; the Perseid planet Sinti occupied by the enemy; many of the new High Guard's prize possessions also destroyed, and a power vacuum that brought to light the true powers behind the Restored Systems Commonwealth - powers that controlled it and perhaps directed its demise. Later, it was also discovered that the most powerful Nietzschean Prides were working with the cosmic entity known as the 'Spirit of the Abyss'.
