Non Professional Swiss Romand Americain Football League

The Non Professional Swiss Romand Americain Football League (NSFL) is a Swiss American Football League. In 1982 Cursio Caravati and Massimo Monti created the SFL (Swiss Football League). The first team to see the day was the Lugano Seagulls. In 2006, only one National Federation is regonised by the EFAF: The SAFV (Schweizericher America Football Verband), which is divided into two leagues: A National A League (LNA) and a National B League (LNB). A National Championship for juniors also exists.

Famous quotes containing the words professional, swiss, football and/or league:

... a supportive husband is an absolute requirement for professional women.... He is something she looks for, and when she finds him, she marries him.
    Alice S. Rossi (b. 1922)

Nothing sets a person up more than having something turn out just the way it’s supposed to be, like falling into a Swiss snowdrift and seeing a big dog come up with a little cask of brandy round its neck.
    Claud Cockburn (1904–1981)

People stress the violence. That’s the smallest part of it. Football is brutal only from a distance. In the middle of it there’s a calm, a tranquility. The players accept pain. There’s a sense of order even at the end of a running play with bodies stewn everywhere. When the systems interlock, there’s a satisfaction to the game that can’t be duplicated. There’s a harmony.
    Don Delillo (b. 1926)

I am not impressed by the Ivy League establishments. Of course they graduate the best—it’s all they’ll take, leaving to others the problem of educating the country. They will give you an education the way the banks will give you money—provided you can prove to their satisfaction that you don’t need it.
    Peter De Vries (b. 1910)
