Company Acquired
On October 20, 2009, the company announced that it was being acquired by Swiss company Adecco Group for US$1.3 billion in cash. Adecco is the largest human resources company in the world. Adecco indicated that it would not change the MPS brand name. Jacksonville will become Adecco's center for professional staffing in North America. The merger was completed in the first quarter of 2010.
