KTVK

KTVK is an independent television station in Phoenix, Arizona. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 24 (virtual channel 3.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter on South Mountain in Phoenix. Its signal is relayed across northern Arizona on a network of translator stations. Owned by Belo, KTVK is sister to CW affiliate KASW and both stations share studios on the northwest end of Phoenix's Central Avenue Corridor. Syndicated programs seen on KTVK include Inside Edition, Friends, Justice for All with Judge Cristina Pérez, How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Phil and The Dr. Oz Show.

Known on-air as 3TV, KTVK was the market's original ABC affiliate prior to becoming an independent station from its February 28, 1955 sign-on to January 8, 1995, and was one of that network's strongest stations.
