Famous quotes containing the words assisted, reproductive and/or technology:
“We are thus assisted by natural objects in the expression of particular meanings. But how great a language to convey such pepper-corn informations!”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“The blind conviction that we have to do something about other peoples reproductive behaviour, and that we may have to do it whether they like it or not, derives from the assumption that the world belongs to us, who have so expertly depleted its resources, rather than to them, who have not.”
—Germaine Greer (b. 1939)
“If the technology cannot shoulder the entire burden of strategic change, it nevertheless can set into motion a series of dynamics that present an important challenge to imperative control and the industrial division of labor. The more blurred the distinction between what workers know and what managers know, the more fragile and pointless any traditional relationships of domination and subordination between them will become.”
—Shoshana Zuboff (b. 1951)
