Pulsating Theory - The Ground-state Model

The Ground-state Model

Just as matter having different states, space, too, has. They take form as energy states, similar to the energy levels of electrons around an atom nucleus. If this is true for space-time, then that would mean that S-T is in a false vacuum.

A false vacuum is given rise when quantum fluctuations would not allow for space-time to be a true vacuum. The True vacuum is the Zero-point energy for S-T, which means that it is the lowest possible energy. For a system such as S-T to reach true vacuum, energy must be diluted so much to achieve thermal equilibrium.

Our false vacuum universe is steadily going to thermal equilibrium, meaning there will come a time when S-T is so devoid of energy that it will tunnel from the false vacuum state to the true vacuum state.

This proposition incorporates a non-expanding but dynamic universe, and that its expansion is just an illusion resulting from the transfer of energy from the false vacuum to the true vacuum. With this in mind, it would be logical to assume to have energy in the true vacuum to be from the false vacuum in that by the moment S-T would tunnel to the true vacuum, energy from there would now be in the S-T, re-energizing the latter, causing a big-bang.

•Explanation to the non-expanding bu dynamic Universe. That an infinite (either planar infinite of spherical infinite)universe... given that Hubble proved via observation that the universe is expanding, and was later proved to expand at an ever quickening rate, the view of a non-expanding universe is counter intuitive indeed. But the proof of the expanding universe is only from the redshift of the wavelength of Light to elongate. But when put into the context of this proposed mechanism for the Big bang, it's just Energy from the Light moving to the true-vacuum.

Famous quotes containing the word model:

She represents the unavowed aspiration of the male human being, his potential infidelity—and infidelity of a very special kind, which would lead him to the opposite of his wife, to the “woman of wax” whom he could model at will, make and unmake in any way he wished, even unto death.
    Marguerite Duras (b. 1914)
