List Of MTR Stations
This is a list of the stations of the MTR, the metro system in Hong Kong, sorted according to their service lines. After the merger with the Kowloon–Canton Railway on 2 December 2007, the operation of the East Rail Line, West Rail Line, Ma On Shan Line and the Light Rail system was transferred to the MTR Corporation. The addition of the three lines expands the metro system to encompass 10 heavy rail lines and 84 stations. Serving exclusively in northwestern New Territories, the light rail network comprises 12 routes, serving 68 stops. The network is being expanded and several new lines are being proposed or under construction.

Famous quotes containing the words list of, list and/or stations:
“Modern tourist guides have helped raised tourist expectations. And they have provided the nativesfrom Kaiser Wilhelm down to the villagers of Chichacestenangowith a detailed and itemized list of what is expected of them and when. These are the up-to- date scripts for actors on the tourists stage.”
—Daniel J. Boorstin (b. 1914)
“I am opposed to writing about the private lives of living authors and psychoanalyzing them while they are alive. Criticism is getting all mixed up with a combination of the Junior F.B.I.- men, discards from Freud and Jung and a sort of Columnist peep- hole and missing laundry list school.... Every young English professor sees gold in them dirty sheets now. Imagine what they can do with the soiled sheets of four legal beds by the same writer and you can see why their tongues are slavering.”
—Ernest Hemingway (18991961)
“mourn
The majesty and burning of the childs death.
I shall not murder
The mankind of her going with a grave truth
Nor blaspheme down the stations of the breath”
—Dylan Thomas (19141953)
