South County Middle School is a middle school in Lorton, part of the Fairfax County Public Schools system, opened in September 2012. The school mascot is the Mustangs, and school colors are green, blue, and Burgandy. This school was built to help relieve over crowding from South County Secondary School which is now "South County High School". It well be opeining in September of 2012 to welcome the first students for the new school year.
