Karl Raymond Kennedy is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Alan Fletcher. Karl made his first on screen appearance on 20 September 1994. The character and his family were created by storyliners in an attempt to bring the show back to its roots. Karl was given the job of local GP to give him immediate links with other characters.
