Cruel World is a 2005 American comedy-horror film produced and directed by Kelsey T. Howard. The film is about a psychotic man kills the host after losing a game show. He then uses the house where the show took place to film his own reality show, which involves several contestants performing challenges, and the losers being "sent home" (a euphemism for being killed).
Famous quotes containing the words cruel and/or world:
“So cruel prison how could betide, alas,
As proud Windsor, Where I in lust and joy
With a kings son my childish years did pass
In greater feast than Priams sons of Troy?
Where each sweet place returns a taste full sour;”
—Henry Howard, Earl Of Surrey (1517?1547)
“The world does not speak. Only we do. The world can, once we have programmed ourselves with a language, cause us to hold beliefs. But it cannot propose a language for us to speak. Only other human beings can do that.”
—Richard Rorty (b. 1931)
