Africa
The Book Of Common Prayer in Africa is the same as the ones in other places. Each province has its own signature which is put on the cover pages of the book as there are some words that differ from province to another. In Yoruba it is known as "Iwe Adura ti gbogbo Ijo Anglikan".

Famous quotes containing the word africa:
“For Africa to me ... is more than a glamorous fact. It is a historical truth. No man can know where he is going unless he knows exactly where he has been and exactly how he arrived at his present place.”
—Maya Angelou (b. 1928)
“What is Africa to me:
Copper sun or scarlet sea,
Jungle star or jungle track,
Strong bronzed men, or regal black
Women from whose loins I sprang
When the birds of Eden sang?”
—Countee Cullen (19031946)
“I know no East or West, North or South, when it comes to my class fighting the battle for justice. If it is my fortune to live to see the industrial chain broken from every workingmans child in America, and if then there is one black child in Africa in bondage, there shall I go.”
—Mother Jones (18301930)
