Lara Wade was the police office investigating the Ferndale Stranglings. Lara helped Chris (Michael Galvin) through his problems and the two started an affair. When Joey Henderson (Johnny Barker) was revealed as the killer and killed himself, Lara quit her job to pursue a career in psychology.
