Relations To The Croatian Orthodox Church

One of the prominent members of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church was Jelisej Lalatović, a former Serb monk from Nikšić, defrocked for stealing of church property and falsification of church seals. Famous quotes containing the words relations to, relations, orthodox and/or church:

    The interest in life does not lie in what people do, nor even in their relations to each other, but largely in the power to communicate with a third party, antagonistic, enigmatic, yet perhaps persuadable, which one may call life in general.
    Virginia Woolf (1882–1941)

    In the mythic schema of all relations between men and women, man proposes, and woman is disposed of.
    Angela Carter (1940–1992)

    If the jests that you crack have an orthodox smack,
    You may get a bland smile from these sages;
    But should it, by chance, be imported from France,
    Half-a-crown is stopped out of your wages!
    Sir William Schwenck Gilbert (1836–1911)

Now I don’t pretend to be no preacher, but I’ve read the Good Book from cover to cover and back again, and I nary found one word agin dancin’. So we’ll commence by havin’ a dad blasted good dance.
    Samuel G. Engel (1904–1984)
