WSAZ-TV is the NBC-affiliated television station for Huntington and Charleston, West Virginia. This area is the second-largest market in terms of area east of the Mississippi River consisting of 61 counties in Central West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky, and Southeastern Ohio. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 23 from a transmitter in Milton. Owned by Gray Television, the station has studios on Fifth Avenue (U.S. 60) in Downtown Huntington and secondary facilities on Columbia Avenue in Charleston along I-64/U.S. 119 and U.S. 60.

Syndicated programming on WSAZ includes: Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, The Dr. Oz Show, Live! with Kelly and Michael, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Jeff Probst Show. The station can also be seen on repeater W16CE channel 16 in the Kanawha Valley that is licensed to Charleston with a transmitter on Garfield Avenue. This signal is carried on Suddenlink in the eastern part of the market.
