Silicon Valley Leadership Group
The Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) is a non-profit member organization that engages senior managers in cooperative efforts with local, state, and federal officials to address major public policy issues that affect the economic health and quality life in Silicon Valley, including energy, transportation, education, housing, health care, tax policies, economic vitality and the environment.
The organization was founded in 1978 by David Packard, co-founder of Hewlett-Packard and represents more than 375 of Silicon Valley's employers, who collectively provide nearly one of every three private sector jobs in Silicon Valley.
