History
The town used to be a rubber estate and tin-mining town in the 1960s. During the 1980s, Puchong consisted of only one two-lane road running through estates and villages. Since then, urbanization has occurred rapidly with many industrial parks, commercial centres and residential areas mushrooming along Jalan Puchong.
