A Chartered Realty Investor (CRI) Charter holder is a fiduciary participant in the real estate investment decision making and / or implementation process who has passed both the Associate (CRI Associate) and Charter exams (Charter holder), who agrees to comply with the continuing requirements of a CRI Charter holder, and continues to be a Member of the Chartered Realty Society in good standing. The designation certifies a Charter holders’ ethics-based competency and their broad understanding of the major components of real estate investing including: property issues and due diligence, analysis and valuation, underwriting, legal issues, capital market instruments, CMBS, and asset / portfolio management.
