The Ploiești–Albița Motorway is a planned motorway designed to link the eastern part of Romania and the Republic of Moldova to the Romanian capital city of Bucharest, along the Pan-European Corridor IX. It is planned to be 314 km long and will follow the route: Ploiești – Buzău – Focșani – Albița – Moldova.

The first section, from Ploiești to Focșani, has been proposed for a concession contract, that shall be tendered during the first half of 2013.
