Laxminarayan Institute of Technology (LIT) is a premier government aided institute of higher education in the field of chemical engineering and technology in Nagpur, India, established in 1942. It is one of the oldest and top engineering college for Chemical Engineering in India. It ranks second only to UICT Mumbai in Maharashtra for chemical engg studies. Similar to the other institutes of technology in India, LIT offers courses after the 10+2 level (Bachelors: B.Tech.) and Post Graduation courses like M.Tech. and Ph.D.
