Kitchen Confidential (TV Series)

Kitchen Confidential is an American television sitcom that debuted on September 19, 2005, on the Fox network, based on Anthony Bourdain's New York Times bestselling book, Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly. Bradley Cooper played the Anthony Bourdain-inspired lead character, Jack Bourdain.

After the show's first three episodes aired on Fox, the show was put on hiatus due to Fox's coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs. In November 2005, Fox announced the show would not air during sweeps and that only 13 episodes would be produced as it was only averaging 4 million viewers. The show returned on December 5, 2005, with its fourth episode, but only received 3.38 million viewers. Four days later, Fox announced the cancellation of the series.

Famous quotes containing the words kitchen and/or confidential:

I have been in Sorrow’s kitchen and licked out all the pots. Then I have stood on the peaky mountain wrapped in rainbows, with a harp and a sword in my hands.
    Zora Neale Hurston (1891–1960)

    The Enemy, who wears
    Her mother’s usual face
    And confidential tone,
    Has access; doubtless stares
    Into her writing case
    And listens on the phone.
    Phyllis McGinley (1905–1978)
