His reviews and criticisms receive attention in Canada, where he has shared such as his own Academy Awards predictions, In addition, Foote has joined the staff of the website www.incontention.com as their Toronto International Film Festival critic, though he has since moved to The Awards Circuit (www.awardscircuit.com), where he has joined the staff consisting of Editor Clayton Davis as well as Senior Staff Writers Joey Magidson and Myles Hughes, where he comments throughout the year on the Oscar races, past and present.
