Evje

Evje is a village and former municipality in Aust-Agder county, Norway. The village of Evje is the administrative center of the current municipality of Evje og Hornnes in the Setesdal valley region. The lake Høvringsvatnet is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northeast of the village.

The urban area of Evje, which encompasses the villages of Evje, Evjemoen, Dåsnesmoen, Hornnes, and Kjetså has a population of about 3,300.
