Famous quotes containing the words zealand, east, bays and/or coast:

    Teasing is universal. Anthropologists have found the same fundamental patterns of teasing among New Zealand aborigine children and inner-city kids on the playgrounds of Philadelphia.
    Lawrence Kutner (20th century)

    It is the business of thought to define things, to find the boundaries; thought, indeed, is a ceaseless process of definition. It is the business of Art to give things shape. Anyone who takes no delight in the firm outline of an object, or in its essential character, has no artistic sense.... He cannot even be nourished by Art. Vance Palmer (1885–1959)

    To rest a little from praise and grievous pleasure and pain.
    —A.C. (Algernon Charles)

    How happy is the sailor’s life,
    From coast to coast to roam;
    In every port he finds a wife,
    In every land a home.
    Isaac Bickerstaffe (c. 1735–1812)
