Pokémon Crime Syndicates - Team Plasma

Team Plasma (プラズマ団, Purazuma-dan?, lit. Plasma Gang) is the main antagonistic force in the Pokémon Black and White series. They plan to free Pokémon from humans by separating them from the human world, as they see Pokémon and human as equals; and therefore, to capture one in a Pokéball is the same thing as enslavement. Team Plasma is headed by N, who captures Zekrom or Reshiram (depending on the game version); and Ghetsis, N's father and one of the seven Sages of Team Plasma. It is revealed that Ghetsis had been using N and Team Plasma to control all Pokémon in Unova. In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, however, Team Plasma has split into two factions. One is loyal to N: this faction is led by Rood, who runs a volunteer house in Driftveil City, and one is controlled by Colress who, in turn, follows Ghetsis. The newer Team Plasma has a more militaristic uniform.
