- Fishing harbour
- Football stadium in al khor sports club
- An assortment of small and medium sized shops (these include opticians, pharmacies, tailors,supermarkets, a coop etc.)
- A growing number of restaurants and fast food stores
- A small industrial area
- Al Khor mall which opened on 7th of July 2012.
