U.S. Terrorism Watch List
On May 19, 2011, the Toronto Star, from a Wikileaks dispatch, reported that Mubin Shaikh, had been added to the U.S. terrorism watch list.
For his part, Shaikh maintains it was en error and as proof, traveled to Dublin, Ireland as a speaker for Google Idea's, "Summit Against violent Extremism" shortly after the alleged listing.

Putting to rest any insinuations of the listing and in one of the rarest cases of a person being removed from the terrorism watch-list, in April 2012, Shaikh traveled to Washington, D.C. for the Government Security conference where he presented as an expert on the topic of domestic terrorism.
