Gloryhound

Gloryhound is a Canadian rock band based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band is originally from Fall River, Nova Scotia. After self-releasing two albums, Gloryhound were signed by Entertainment One Canada in 2012.

As of May 2013, the band is currently on tour with Bumstead Records group Poor Young Things. The tour will feature stops in Southern Ontario and Atlantic Canada. The tour also coincides with the release of Gloryhound ‘s newest single “Let You Down Again”. The song was released to radio on April 29, 2013. It was produced by Canadian music stalwart Joel Plaskett and recorded in Dartmouth, NS, at Plaskett’s New Scotland Yard Studios.

Though “Let You Down Again” is presently a stand-alone single, it follows up on the success of Gloryhound ‘s prior releases “TKO Tokyo” and “Electric Dusk”. “Electric Dusk” peaked at number 14 on the Canadian Active Rock chart in March 2012. The song is also the title track of Gloryhound ‘s 2012 EP “Electric Dusk”. Tours in 2012 saw Gloryhound open for rock legends such as Deep Purple and The Cult.
