Russian Language
In Russian (a Slavic Indo-European language) there are three grammatical genders: male, female and neuter. "он"(on) is used for he, "она"(aNA) for she, and "оно"(aNO) is a neuter pronoun. In the plural "они" (aNEE), used for they, is gender-neutral.
