The Education in Flanders covers the Flemish Community, the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium, and consists of three networks (netten): government-provided education (gemeenschapsonderwijs), subsidized public schools (by provinces and municipalities) and subsidized free schools (mainly affiliated to the Catholic church).
