Bret Edward Barberie (born August 16, 1967, in Long Beach, California) is a former professional baseball infielder. He is an alumnus of the University of Southern California.
Drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 7th round of the 1988 Major League Baseball Draft, Barberie would make his major league debut with the Montreal Expos on June 16, 1991, and appear in his final game on June 22, 1996.
Barberie was a member of the inaugural Florida Marlins team that began play in Major League Baseball in 1993. He got the first hit by a Marlin on opening day, April 5. Bret Barberie is the former husband of Jillian Barberie (now known as Jillian Reynolds).
