Severodvinsk

Severodvinsk (Russian: Северодвинск; ) is a city in the north of Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia, located in the delta of the Northern Dvina River, 35 kilometers (22 mi) west of Arkhangelsk. The city was founded as Sudostroy (Судостро́й). Population is on the decline in recent years: 192,353 (2010 Census); 201,551 (2002 Census); 248,670 (1989 Census)..
