Lolly Allen

Shannon Louise "Lolly" Allen (née Carpenter) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Adelaide Kane. She made her first on-screen appearance on 25 July 1994. Louise was previously played by Tessa Taylor from her birth, with Jiordan Anna Tolli taking over the role a few months later. Louise was written out in 2001 when Tolli's parents and the producers felt it was the right time to leave. In 2006, it was announced that the character would be returning to the show and the role was given to Kane, after she won the Dolly magazine "Neighbours Next Big Stars" competition. Kane and Louise departed on 29 June 2007.
