Despite its cancellation in the United States, the Mark LT continues to be sold in Mexico, where it is the brand's best-selling model. The second generation Mark LT, first sold in September 2009 for the 2010 model year, is based upon the twelfth generation F-150 and, other than styling differences, is identical to the F-150 Platinum. The Mark LT continues to be built in Dearborn (short bed), and Cuautitlan (long bed) alongside the F-150.
