Maheshwar

An historic site situated on the bank of the Narmada river, Maheshwar was the capital of the kingdom of Ahilyabai Holkar. The town is famous for the scenic Narmada River banks, where thousands of tourists visit every year. The river Narmada also has the spiritual importance which makes these banks more popular with the public.
