Hamid Mir

Hamid Mir (Urdu: حامد مير‎, born 23 July 1966) is a Pakistani journalist, news anchor, terrorism expert, and security analyst. He participated in international conferences. He also writes columns in Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, and English newspapers and hosts a political talk show on Geo TV as Capital Talk. He was twice banned from TV by the military regime of general Pervez Musharraf in 2007. and the government of Zardari in June 2008. He has also received Hilal-i-Imtiaz for his works.
