Courage UK

Courage UK is an Evangelical Christian ministry for the gay and lesbian community, based in Guildford, Surrey, England. It was originally founded as an ex-gay organization that sought to change gay people to straight, but subsequently rejected the idea that sexual orientation could or should be changed and now exists as a pro-gay evangelical Christian ministry.

The membership of Courage UK in 2006 has been stated to be about 150 men.

Courage UK bears no affiliation to Courage International, a Roman Catholic ministry which discourages gay people from relationships.

Famous quotes containing the word courage:

America is neither free nor brave, but a land of tight, iron- clanking little wills, everybody trying to put it over everybody else, and a land of men absolutely devoid of the real courage of trust, trust in life’s sacred spontaneity. They can’t trust life until they can control it.
