The Chicago Slaughter is an American professional football team based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. They are currently members of the Indoor Football League. The franchise was a part of the Continental Indoor Football League from 2007-2009, winning the championship in 2009. The Slaughter joined the Indoor Football League for the 2010 season. The Slaughter's head coach is Steve "Mongo" McMichael, and their owner is Jim McMahon.
