This set of six stamps was issued by the Royal Mail on 23 February 2006. It was the third set of British commemorative stamps issued in 2006. A major issue, a variety of formats were launched- as well as the usual products of mint stamps, presentation packs, stamps cards and first day cover, the stamps were available as a miniature sheet, prestige stamp book and limited edition coin cover.
